Celebrating the 25th Anniversary Reunion of the first British ascent of Everest without oxygen

Apter Development are sponsoring the 25th Anniversary reunion of the first British ascent of Everest without oxygen. 12th May 1988.

A lecture and the opportunity to join the Everest '88 team at an exclusive dinner at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London, SW7 2AR.  14th March 2013. In aid of brainstrust.

In 1988 Stephen Venables became the first Briton to climb Everest without supplementary oxygen. He reached the summit alone, after climbing with a small American-Canadian team, by a new route up the gigantic Kangshung Face.

Now to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this ascent, which included a world record solo bivouac at 8,600 metres, Stephen and his fellow climbers, including expedition leader Robert Anderson, are organising a celebratory evening to raise funds for the charity brainstrust and the brain tumour patients that they help to regain control of their lives.
